PvP Reward Weapon Buyback
One of the major flaws in the PvP Reward Weapon system is that weapons are gone if you reroll a character. Since an unlock system doesn't seem to be coming, an alternative is to allow Tolkano to refund TRPs/ZCoins for altered weapons. The reward weapon would be destroyed or returned to its original skin, and the player would be credited. It makes sense for returns to be in TRPs, since the Coin prices are too high and it would be simple to make money by turning TRPs into ZCoins (Heavy Packs).
The only concern with this is the tiered unlocking system, but the simplest solution is to just subtract an unlock from the appropriate tier if not unlocked.
This would make many PvPers happier.

Bulls**t. Add a hero, equip him with the weapon and then change your character. Hero that you have added will have that weapon equipped and it will be customised to your new character.

Are you talking only about weapons, or also about armors? Does the hero trick works also with armors? However, it seems a nice idea, since the great thing about PvP characters is that they can be rerolled end re-equipped very easily and quickly, so IMHO there's no reason for not allowing an account to maintain its PvP rewards, as it does with the other mods unlocked.

It only works for weapons.
Really though, the point of spending RPs on a PvP is to keep it around permanently. You shouldn't be allowed to look pretty for free. After all, when you delete a PvE, you can't get a refund on whatever armor you bought.

Well, certain items become unlocked when you purchase a certain amount of specific types of PvP rewards.
So... that should be taken into account, so you don't just purchase-return-purchase to unlock.
Hm... as long as the feature is unlocked along the last tier of each type of item, I won't mid.

It takes more effort to get armor/weapons via PvP than PvE.
More on topic: what's the point? I'm terrible and still find rps and zcoins to get whatever armor I want.

I don't think that the PvP unlocking system gives you something "for free". You have to work the first time to unlock those items, so you have "paid" them, and so you can use them whenever you want. In the same way, when you achieve some PvP weapon, it's not free, you have worked hard for obtaining it, and having to repeat all the work to use an item you have already worked for is pretty silly imho. PvE is another story, it's based on grinding and farming (if you don't want to repeat the same missions over and over again) and there is all the RPG behind, so your character starts in the academy, then learns new skills, grows etc..but what sense does this make in PvP?

If it's not an unlock system, it's not going to get me to put any more RPs into it than I already do, which is zero.

Great idea, I haven't thought about it. I just didn't spend any RPs on PvP chars since I don't want to keep any permanently and always considered the PvPReward items a retarded idea since PvP chars were always meant for rerolling.
Now only the higher tier unlock system is a problem with this idea, even substracting the unlocks upon refunding doesn't sound good since a player would be able to unload a lot of points at once to get a higher tier, then sell all and use the same RPs to get to highest tier.
The whole tier-unlocking system would need a rework OR the refunds should be 100% RPs only when you got the highest tier unlocked.
Oh and one more detail - I didn't do any calculations but it should be made sure that refunds in RPs don't become a cheap way to convert:
ZCoins->PvPitem->RPs->ZKEYS

agree. if ur unlocking weapons and armor with tourny reward points, you should intend to make that character permanent.

Only differences between a pvp char and pve char are what?
PvP chars can make whatever armor they need/want whenever they want with whatever mods.
PvP chars can use unlocked skills bought at a priest account wide.
PvP chars can not go outside of PvP.
You buy armor with reward points..is like a pve char buying armor period..take it off and store it somewhere when u need to change something. Or buy mods to change the armor. Either way, allowing pvp chars to "sell back" armor or weapons is a bad idea. This reqs an account to receive said amount of RP's "X" and would result in limitless armor/weapons skins to use. It would be like a pve char buy one set of vabbian armor and being able to sell it back and then get another set of armor for whatever char it wants/creates...Think of your RP's as gold, gold doesn't drop in PvP..RP's don't drop in PvE.

This post makes sense except for the fact that getting platinum isnt the same as getting RPs. RPs are a little more complicated to get and also cant be really sold (besides zkeys).Though at this point pvp is dead and pretty much aTs are a joke so lets not mess with the current system.
